English: Lusca district in Dioclia ( XI c. AD).
Српски / srpski: Lusca (Luška župa) gravitirala je prema Dioklitinskom (Skadarskom) jezeru, pa se smatra za jezersku župu, mada nije priobalna. Ona odgovara današnjem Lješkopolju, između rijeka Morače i Sitnice. Pretpostavka je da je zahvatala i manje polje na lijevoj obali rijeke Matice – koje se i danas zove Lužnica. Na sjeveru granicu čine Malo brdo i Velje brdo. Jugoistočno od Veljeg brda i danas se nalazi selo Lužane. Kao župa Lusca (Luscha giopa) ova oblast se pominje i 1318. godine, a u XV vijeku stanovnici se nazivaju Luxeni ili Luxani. U narodu je sačuvana tradicija da su predio ove župe prije dolaska Slovena nastanjivali starosjedioci Španji, da su postojali dvori bana Lužanina, kao i crkva posvećena Sv. Makabeju (kult nepoznat ostalom slovenskom življu).
Dioklitinsko jezero (današnje Skadarsko jezero) u ranom srednjem vijeku je imalo manju površinu i drugačiji oblik od današnjeg (prikazano na mapi, u kojoj su nazivi iz dukljanskog perioda dati izvorno).
