Español: ANILLOS DE SATURNO. Máxima visibilidad de sus caras.
La Latitud Saturnicéntrica Terrestre o de Saturno Terrestre es la latitud que se ve en Saturno uniendo una línea recta que va desde el centro de la Tierra hasta el centro de Saturno pasando por tal latitud saturniana (centro del disco planetario). Esta latitud observada desde la Tierra se debe a la inclinación orbital de Saturno respecto de la eclíptica y también a la inclinación de su eje de rotación. Las Latitudes Saturnicéntricas Terrestres máximas son aproximadamente de ±27º, cuando su valor es igual a 0° los anillos se "ven" de canto (invisibles). El ciclo tiene un período de 30 años equivalente a una vuelta del planeta al Sol. |
