Español: Esta “selfie” se hizo usando una lente pupila especializada en el interior del instrumento NIRCam quefue diseñada para obtener imágenesde los segmentos del espejo primario en vez de imágenes del espacio. Esta configuración no se utiliza durante las operaciones científicas y se usa estrictamente con fines de ingeniería y alineación. En este caso, el segmento se apuntóa una estrella brillante, mientras que los demás tienen la misma alineación. Esta imagen indicó al instrumento cuál es la alineación inicial del espejo primario. |
