| Description |
A nearby dwarf irregular galaxy that would seem to have a bit of star formation going on, as denoted by the puffs of wispy blue clouds dotting the galaxy. In a visible light image they would appear as pinkish nebulas. I love how it seems to fit perfectly on the detector. The Geometry and Kinematics of the Local Volume Red: ACS/WFC F814W (jc9v0v020_drz) Green: Pseudo Blue: ACS/WFC F606W (jc9v0v010_drz) North is NOT up. It is 17.42° counter-clockwise from up. |
