Description
English: Hello this is Marburg and the not visible castle! Fog you Goethe and the Brothers Grimm (they liked the up and down with streets and stairs in Marburg so very much - and moved to Kassel!), the main building in that city here is 'Affenfelsen' (monkey rock). Photo taken on a foggy afternoon in the valley between Marburg and Gießen from a bridge in the South of old town.
Deutsch: Das im Winter oft neblige Lahntal zwischen Marburg und Gießen mit dem Landgrafenschloss oben in den Wolken. Allerdings scheint es nicht nur in den tiefen (Seiten-)tälern der Lahn dieses Jahr eine düstere depressiv machende Jahreszeit gegeben zu haben, der Deutsche Wetterdienst (DWD) hat das für weite Teile in Deutschland objektiviert (Bericht in der FAZ: So grau war der Winter noch nie, die (sozial) ganz unten und doch oben in den Hügeln wohnenden trifft es da ganz speziell... Grauenhaft). Den Bewohner*innen des Hochhauses Affenfelsen am Rande des Marburger Südviertels nahe von B3 und Lahn ermöglichen die Scheinwerfer der Autos nachmittags um 3 noch einige Lichtblicke im Nebel der Stadt.
