2011/02/06: Power plugs are ubiquitous. Can you make a creative photo of such a common thing? Try it today! #ds448</em> They ran from the medical office laughing like school kids. Lori could not believe that his whacky gizmo and plan had worked, but in his briecase was a check made out for $10,00 to CHB Energy Enterprises, a non existent compant with headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee (which just happened to be the home town of Belinda Montgomery, the office manager at Anderson Medical). Conrad was impressed with Lori's cool, calm and utterly believable cameo as someone in the waiting toom who could ioffer an anecdaote of support for the services of CHB Energy Enterprises. "So what the hell was that thing you plugged into their power out in the back of the office?" asked Lori. Conrad smiled. "I'd call it a RC EMP" "Okay, McGyver, I'll need a little bit more." "Oh that you shall." "No, please, I am not trying to steal amny trade secrets. But you did rig something to cause their panic." "Okay sweetheart, you earned a little insidep dope. That's a Radio Controlled Electronic Magnetic Pulse, something I learned from an Army buddy who had done some undercover ops with some Mossad agents. We did not want to make it look like power outage; I just was able to give a remote signal to send a scramble burst unti their office that would make things like PCs and computers go a littl fritzy." Lori did not full understand the details, but she got the concept. "Which is why your companies electrical integrity equipment and services would be attractive." "Indeeed, you see how easy they made a down payment." "And they will be surprised in three weks when the installer does not show up?" "righ, darling. The delivery of a few boxes next week will buy us some time." "Damn, you are good, Conrad.... no we are. Let's go get a steak and some good scotch; I want tp party it up." "We are on our way, let's go to Foley's Steakhouse. And then we go back to your place and play a little prowler at window." "You are too much, : beamed Lori. And she smiled to herself, knowing how to rig the final coup d'état. |
