Nederlands: Objectgegevens Titel: Handgeschilderde, beweegbare lantaarnplaat met komische afbeelding Beschrijving: Beweegbare lantaarnplaat, zogenoemde enkelvoudige schuifplaat. Twee glazen zijn gemonteerd in een houten raamwerk. De actie komt tot stand door het ene glas, de 'glijdende plaat', voor het tweede glas, dat vast gemonteerd is, langs te bewegen. De glijdende plaat kan vrij bewegen in een zijwaartse richting. Zij kan gedeeltelijk uit het raamwerk getrokken worden en weer in de vorige positie terug worden geduwd. Het onderwerp wordt op het vaste glas afgebeeld in twee verschillende posities. De illusie van een beweging wordt veroorzaakt door het beurtelings afdekken van het ene of het andere gedeelte van het plaatje. Handgeschilderde afbeelding van man met glas en wijnkaraf: als de tweede plaat opzij wordt geschoven groeit zijn neus buiten proportioneel.
