Summary[edit]

Description

A very special picture about Manuel Fernández Silvestre y Patinga, a Spanish military general who committed suicide with a bullet to the head after leading a disaster in Morocco. Why is this portrait special? Well, it’s not something I’ve never done before, but it’s because I have only used colours present in one of his portraits. The first time I did that was with James McCudden’s portrait. With this one, I used a painting that was done after the photo was taken. That means the colours are extremely accurate. However, I’ve used different layers of colour in the face to make it more realistic.
