Description
English: Letter by professor Giuseppe Belli to his colleague Luigi De Cristoforis, dated 2nd of September 1846. The author is professor of Physics at the university of Pavia at the time, and discusses the drawbacks of an air-based barometer designed by De Cristoforis, and how to improve its precision.
Italiano: Lettera del prof. Giuseppe Belli al collega Luigi de Cristoforis, datata 2 settembre 1846. L'autore è al tempo professore di fisica all'università di Pavia, e discute i problemi di un progetto di barometro ad aria di de Cristoforis, e come migliorarne la precisione.
