Singer, actor, comedian, and film producer Dean Martin and his beloved friend actor, comedian, singer, film producer, film director and screenwriter Jerry Lewis. These two amazing actors formed a comedy duo that lasted for ten years. They first performed in nightclubs, and, due to an incredible success, they later tried on radio. The greatest achievement was branching out into television and films. The duo had a show of their own in radio, The Martin and Lewis Show and both members teamed up in 17 different films, with such successes as At War with the Army, Jumping Jacks, Road to Bali or The Caddy, which included very well-known song That’s amore. Martin's career arguably reached new heights after the team split up, as a recording artist for the Capitol and Reprise labels and as an actor in westerns like Rio Bravo. Lewis remained with Paramount Pictures, appearing in a succession of commercially successful films on his own, for instance, The Nutty Professor or The Bellboy, at one point becoming Paramount's biggest star.
