Description
Deutsch: Das Niehler Ei ist ein so genannter unechter Kreisverkehr, der größte Kreisverkehr in und um Köln. Er befindet sich im nördlichen Teil des Stadtteils Niehl. In diesem 360°-Foto aus der Luft liegt der Rhein im Osten. Das Industriegebiet weit im Norden beinhaltet die Ford-Werke im Stadtteil Merkenich. Links davon, also entfernt im Nordwesten, glänzt die Wasser des Fühlinger Sees. Die Abfahrt aus dem Kreisel nach Osten führt zum Rhein, nach Westen auf eine der großen Kölner Ringstraßen, nämlich den Militärring. Hier schließt sich der Stadtteil Longerich an den Stadtteil Niehl an. Im Süden ist der Stadtteil Weidenpesch mit dem Weidenpescher Park und der Pferderennbahn zu sehen. Östlich davon schließt sich der Niehler Hafen an. Weit im Hintergrund, ganz im Süden, stehen die Silhouetten des Doms und des Fernsehturms.
