Español: Crocodylus acutus, fotografía tomada en La Manzanilla, Jalisco, México. Este ejemplar mide aprox 3 metros. Para atraerlo se agitó el agua y se sembró cebo (pescados). Generalmente no sacan la cabeza del agua excepto cuando atrapan una presa y lo hacen con movimientos muy rápidos.
English: American Crocodile, photograph taken at swamp in La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexico. This croc measured aprox 10 feet. To attract it, water was agitated and bait placed in water (fish). Generally, they do not stick their heads out like this except when feeding, and their movements are very quick.
Deutsch: Spitzkrokodil, in den Gewässern von La Manzanilla (Mexiko). Damit es seinen Kopf wie abgebildet aus dem Wasser steckt, wurde dieses etwa drei Meter lange Exemplar mit einem Fisch im Wasser in Verbindung mit Wellenerzeugung geködert. |
