Deutsch: Blick aus der Andreaestraße auf Café Robby (das spätere Kröpcke), die Kröpcke-Uhr, Opernhaus und die Allee in der Georgstraße. Die Pferdestraßenbahn im Vordergrund hat bereits „Vahrenwald“ zum Ziel.

Typisch für die Zeit sind auch die Markisen vor den Fenstern. Da diese in aller Regel nur auf den dem Süden zugeneigten Fensterfronten angebracht wurden, können sie eine Hilfestellung bei der Zuordnung anderer Photographien sein.

In der rechten unteren Ecke ist ein Blindstempel eingeprägt: „Moment-Aufnahme“ und „1887“. Durch die kürzeren Belichtungszeiten waren auf Photos nun auch bewegte Objekte deutlich zu erkennen.
