Summary[edit]

Description
English: A wild horse spotted near Long Plain Road, near the Snowy Mountains Highway, NSW, in summer. These are (at the time of writing) protected under NSW State legislation, an unpopular law amongst environmentalists due to the damage they cause in Kosciusko National Park. They churn up the bogs and destroy an ecosystem that evolved without hoofed animals. This in turn affects water quality and the ability of the bogs to store and slowly release water through the summer.
