Summary[edit]

Description

here's another look at the beautiful merger that is ngc 3656, this time using colour data from the sloan digital sky survey. inspiration to do this stemmed from seeing judy's current project working through dalcanton's proposal 15446. the chip gap has been filled with cloned data and blurred. if only we could see objects like this three-dimensionally!
