According to the latest data recently published by the European Drought Observatory (EDO) of the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS), drought conditions have been worsening for most of Europe in the period 11-20 August 2022.

Description
English: According to the latest data recently published by the European Drought Observatory (EDO) of the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS), drought conditions have been worsening for most of Europe in the period 11-20 August 2022. According to the EDO Combined Drought Indicator shown in this visualisation, 21 per cent of the European territory is in “Alert” conditions (4% more than in the first tent days of August). The largest increase affected France, where almost the entire western part of the country is in a state of alert. All the data published by EDO are accessible here.

  3. Where that data or information has been adapted or modified, the user shall clearly state this.

GMES dedicated data and GMES service information are provided to users without any express or implied warranty, including as regards quality and suitability for any purpose.
