SALT Araştırma’daki Fabiato Arşivi’nde, Elena Pecci’nin Aurora Fabiato’ya gönderdiği mektuplar da bulunur. İki mektupta, II. Dünya Savaşı dönemi İtalya’sı posta teşkilatındaki sansür uygulamalarına değinilir. Bu mektupların içeriği, dönemin en temel iletişim aracının nasıl denetlendiğine dair fikir vererek iletişim-otorite ilişkisini sorgular. Pecci, postaneye kimlik kartıyla gidilmesinin bir zorunluluk olduğunu; ancak içerik kontrol ve onayından sonra mektup gönderimi yapılabileceğini anlatır. Bu kuralı bilmemesinden dolayı farklı zamanlarda gönderdiği 304 mektubun Fabiato’ya ulaşmamasından duyduğu endişeyi 9 Eylül 1942 tarihli mektubunda belirtmiştir.
