The original database describes this as: Description: Crescent Earth rises as the Apollo 16 crew heads home. This frame is from the first earthrise sequence photographed after transearth injection (TEI) by an apollo crew. The large crater in the lower left quarter of the frame is Chang Heng a 35-km-diameter crater centered near latitude 18.5N, longitude 111.5E. Image was taken from the TransEarth Coast (TEC) during the Apollo 16 mission. Original film magazine was labeled QQ,filmtype was SO-368 (Color Exterior),250mm lens. Principal Point Latitude was 30.3N by Longitude 114.5E,with an azimuth of 305 degrees.
