Deze tulpenboom (?) moet deel hebben uitgemaakt van de aanleg dichtbij het landhuis Hondsdonk. De situatie lijkt sterk op de eerdere afbeelding 'conifeer'. Veel van dit monumentaal groen bestaat anno 2011 niet meer waardoor de ligging van het huis zijn beslotenheid heeft verloren.

In toeristische gidsen van Ginneken rond 1900 wordt een bezoek aan het landgoed met zijn indrukwekkende park (tevens woning van burgemeester Van der Borch) ten zeerste aanbevolen.
