[edit]Description70th and last Front End Receiver for the ALMA about to leave RAL (16684146868).jpg | 70th and last Front End Receiver for the Atacama Large Millimetre Array, (ALMA), project just before leaving STFC's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory on 7th February 2013. ALMA is a large telescope constructed to operate at the very highest radio frequencies. It consists of an array of 64, 12m diameter radio telescopes, which will be built in the Atacama Desert of Northern Chile.
