English: Ronnie, Search and Rescue K-9 German Shepherd, gives his owner, Capt. Greg Auerbach, 54th Air Refueling Squadron KC-135 Stratotanker instructor pilot, a high five while playing on the flightline June 15, 2011. Auerbach and Ronnie were one of three K-9 Search and Rescue handler volunteer teams from the Central Oklahoma Search and Rescue who found the body of the missing Piedmont, Okla., boy, May 26, 2011. Auerbach devotes more than 200 hours a year to training to be a volunteer search and rescue K-9 handler. |
