Summary
[edit]Description1st Infantry Division sign WW2.svg |
English: The British I Corps used an insignia of a white spearhead, symbolising their role as the spearhead of the British Army. The 1st Infantry Division adopted a white triangle, during the Second World War period, to represent the tip of that spear. During the 1960s, when the division was based n Germany, a red outline was added. |
