US/Canada border: The chapel at the International Peace Garden, North Dakota/Manitoba

Summary[edit]

Description

US/Canada border: The chapel at the International Peace Garden is the only building allowed on the border for thousands of kilometers.

(In Quebec there are some older homes that straddle the border, etc.). Here I use black to show exactly how the border splits the interior in half on this photo I took, looking toward the east. Standing is Ms. DENG Yingyu 鄧盈玉. Location approximately 100 deg ~04 min W. 49 deg N. elevation 700 meters.
