Description
Deutsch: Kabinettfotografie mit Bildseite und Revers des Hoffotografen Wilhelm Adler, Aufnahme im Atelier des Künstlers mit einem Ganzkörper eines kleinen Mädchens und eines kleinen Jungen. Die beiden hübsch ausstaffierten Kinder tragen einen gleichartigen breiten weißen Überkragen mit Stickereien und aufwendiger Spitze; ein Indiz dafür, dass das bei Flickr von Andreas Litzbarski als "ca. 1910" eingeordnete Foto ein Geschwisterpaar zeigt.

Das nebenstehende Revers des Kartonträgers verortet die Aufnahme auf eines der beiden Ateliers Adlers, entweder im Hause Allee 6 oder in der Straße Steinweg in Coburg. Die mit floralem Blumenschmuck im Jugendstil geschmückte Rückseite des Kartons, als Lithografie bei

„Alex. Lindner, Berlin“

weist den Eigentümer des fotografischen Instituts als Hof-Fotografen aus, dessen Werke bei Ausstellungen in Leipzig und Berlin prämiert worden sind und der zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme

„INHABER DER HERZOG-ERNST-MEDAILLE“

war.
