Català: Edifici annex de la Caixa de Pensions i d'Estalvis de Barcelona, a la Via Laietana. Arquitecte Enric Sagnier i Villavecchia, obra d'estil neogòtic de de 1917-18. Contemporàniament a l'edifici central de la Caixa de Pensions per a la Vellesa i d'Estalvis, també a la Via Leietana, Enric Sagnier construí per a la mateixa institució aquest annex, que coincideix amb aquell en l'ús dels materials -pedra blanca a la façana principal i combinada amb rajol a les secundàries- i en el llenguatge neogòtic dels acabats, tot i que la seva concepció respon a una tipologia molt més moderna, propera a les noves concepcions d'edifici d'oficines. La zona amb façana a la Via Laietana, combina cantonades arrodonides i un cos central abombat amb cossos plans, alts i emmerletats, i rep ornamentació escultòrica atribuïda a Eusebi Arnau. A la part posterior de l'edifici, corresponent als carrers Ortigosa i Amadeu Vives, un portal decorat també amb relleus dóna accés a la part de l'edifici ocupada per habitatges de gran superfície.
English: Annex building of the Caixa de Pensions y d'Estalvis de Barcelona, in Via Laietana. Architect Enric Sagnier i Villavecchia, neo-Gothic work from 1917-18. At the same time as the central building of the Caixa de Pensions para la Vellesa and d'Estalvis, also in Via Leietana, Enric Sagnier built this annex for the same institution, which matches that one in the use of materials - white stone on the main facade and combined with tile on the secondary ones - and in the Neo-Gothic language of the finishes, although its conception corresponds to a much more modern typology, close to the new conceptions of office buildings. The area with a facade on Via Laietana combines rounded corners and a convex central body with flat, tall and crenellated bodies, and receives sculptural ornamentation attributed to Eusebi Arnau. At the back of the building, corresponding to Ortigosa and Amadeu Vives streets, a portal also decorated with reliefs gives access to the part of the building occupied by large-scale housing.

Contemporáneamente en el edificio central de la Caja de Pensiones para la Vejez y de Ahorros, también en la Vía Leyetana, Enric Sagnier construyó para la misma institución este anexo, que coincide con aquél en el uso de los materiales -piedra blanca en la fachada principal y combinada con ladrillo en las secundarias- y en el lenguaje neogótico de los acabados, aunque su concepción responde a una tipología mucho más moderna, cercana a las nuevas concepciones de edificio de oficinas. La zona con fachada a la Via Laietana, combina esquinas redondeadas y un cuerpo central bombado con cuerpos planos, altos y almenados, y recibe ornamentación escultórica atribuida a Eusebi Arnau. En la parte posterior del edificio, correspondiente a las calles Ortigosa y Amadeu Vives, un portal decorado también con relieves da acceso a la parte del edificio ocupada por viviendas de gran superficie.
