Comment It is a nice photo but I'm not sure if it illustrates well this Exhibition Centre. Actually most photos of this subject in commons emphasize the bridge. --MrPanyGoff 19:20, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment Thanks for the comments. As my personal experience of taking this image, I would like to say this image version is a proper composition to display the Exhibition Centre building as a whole. There are some other compositions to shoot the building but it will be either blocked by an exhibition sailing vessel called Polly Woodside, especially in the evening time there is no light for that ship, or the whole building would be struggled to have an entire display by a single shooting. • At this stage, my image is to reflect this new project completed last year and was awarded by the Australian Construction Achievement Award in 2010. Actually there are two separate buildings within this convention and exhibition centre. The images you mentioned were the exhibition building built ten years ago and the image I took is another part of the complex. Also, in terms of photograph, the exhibition built ten years ago does not have the rich light color scheme like the new building especially in the evening outlook. That's why I try to display the valuable view of this new building in the night time. Furthermore, this new building is close to the renowned Grimshaw Architects footbridge, which added the value in the environment around in the photo.
