Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Inside views of photoemission spectroscopes
Used in Global usage
Reason Commons has some images of X-ray photoemission spectroscopes, but almost no views of their insides. This picture shows the three of most important parts: The target sample, the X-ray tube irradiating it and the mount holding the sample. The only other view on Commons is this one, to which the nomination is superior because the X-ray tube is better visible. -- MichaelBueker (talk)

  •  Support Very nice photo! I suggest to add some annotations to this picture to make it more understandable. I have done it for one example. The scope seems to be appropriate to me and it does illustrate its subject well (except for the missing annotations). After a few edits it is well described and categorized. Also I do not insist on a geocode, since it is somehow like a studio work, it has been taken on a physical location and it may be of interest to a few people. -- Dr. Schorsch (talk) 20:03, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I've added some annotations, thank you for your work! As for the geocode, there is a link to a photo of the entire apparatus in the description, and that is geocoded. --MichaelBueker (talk) 22:56, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
