 Info No, the term "aff" (abbreviation for the latin affinis = similar) in the name of the other specimen means, similar to a species, but not the species itself. The other shell looks similar to Siciliaria lamellata, but differs in some characters. But I found no description of a shell with all the characters of aff. Siciliaria lamellata. This means either, that the other specimen is already described, but I didn't find the corresponding literature, or it is a new, hitherto undescribed species. In no case aff. Siciliaria lamellata is conspecific with Siciliaria lamellata (this, the nominated picture). --Llez (talk) 06:31, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
