Info Renomination of test promoted VIC with a slightly modified scope. -- Slaunger 00:48, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Oppose The building has been demolished, so the scope is no longer correct. It is not currently a landmark. – flamurai 22:00, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Comment You are right. I have changed the scope accordingly. Previously it has been an iconic landmark building for this neighbourhood (as I have understood from communications with the creator). -- Slaunger 22:41, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose I just don't think that a scope that's bending over to include all demolished buildings is sufficiently specific to make this one the perfect exemplar, unless we're going to pander to recentism. It begs the question of how this building is more notable than every other now-demolished building from that area - and unless Georgetown had a very boring history, I don't think this would win out. Perhaps a different scope, such as "History of brewing in Seattle" would pass, if this brewery is notable in that respect. I'd want evidence of that, though.
