Comment The picture should also be placed in the category Punica granatum flowers for better comparison. There exist two types of flowers: simple with a few petals [1], which is the normal flower of Punica granatum, and a cultivar for decorative purposes with multiplied petals [2]. As far as I can see this is the decorative, especially in regard to the flowers breeded derivate and not the "natural" flower of the species. --Llez (talk) 11:05, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
