Are they a significant feature? --Myrabella (talk) 12:28, 19 September 2010 (UTC)  Comment The (8) stout feeding appendages together with the typically bluish-brown bell with many evenly distributed opaque white spots are most characteristic for this species, and also its size. Each feeding appendage also sports a retractile ribbon-like tentacle which is not always apparent (here two are visible).
