Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Notre-Dame de Paris, the spire
Used in Global usage
Reason I think a special scope is relevant for this special architectural object, due to originality. Not medieval, but gothic revival opus of Viollet-le-Duc, made by Ateliers Monduit during the 19th century, in oak covered with lead, weight: 750 tons. Since 1935, the cock at the top contains a relic of the Holy-Cross, a relic of Saint Denis, and one of Saint Genevieve (patrons of the city of Paris). Shows the whole spire. Geocoded. -- Jebulon (talk)
