Info Shows two curling stones on the ice with visible pebble (the frozen droplets of water on the surface of the ice that influence greatly the trajectory of a stone). Arria Belli | parlami 14:08, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment For me the most valued image of curling would show the interaction of the people playing this sport using the stones on the curling field. That is, images like this and this. Here is just shown the curling stones and their interaction with the ice. This is also an interesting and valuable aspect of curling IMO and the image is certainly very good at showing this. The composition is also good which helps attract the eye to the subject. Therefore my suggestion is to narrow down the scope to "Curling stones" instead of "Curling". You can also choose to keep the original scope in which case I will move the image to a Most Valued Review and let it compete for VI on "curling" with the two other candidates I have indicated. -- Slaunger 20:18, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Oppose IMO this photo is a better illustration of curling. -- Slaunger 22:05, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
