I am not a butterfly expert and am curiious. What is the distinction between the species, Charaxes aristogiton, and this sub-species, Charaxes aristogiton aristogiton? Also, it would be helpful for long term utility of this image on Commons if you could add some location information - GPS coordinates are best, or at least some text on the location in the description. --GRDN711 (talk) 20:25, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
CommentCharaxes aristogiton aristogiton is the nominate subspecies of Charaxes aristogiton and it is not necessary to mention ssp for the nominate. We should not promote this until location is specified - see No.5 of VI criteria. Charlesjsharp (talk) 13:17, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
