Question The scope refers to a spring and a chapel. (Forgive me if I've misunderstood the translation by DeepL.com) I don't see that this image depicts either. --Tagooty (talk) 03:43, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Tagooty: Thanks for your question. In this place there is a spring and a chapel. It is still a very frequent place of pilgrimage today. This is evidenced by the numerous objects and pebbles on which a prayer or message is inscribed. In the past, there was a source reputed to be miraculous where people came to get water to treat their eyes. The statue, for its part, was moved three times, due to the collapse of the cliff. To clarify the scope I created Notre Dame des Flots du Cran Poulet (Audinghen).--Pierre André (talk) 09:36, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I now understand that Cran Poulet is a beach. Some images in the CAT show the view to the south, some to the north. I don't see any image that depicts the entire beach. So, a suggested scope is "Cran Poulet beach, Audinghen, Pas-de-Calais - view to the north." The Wikidata item Q123397687 could be improved: (1) Description "A beach in Audinghen, France" (2) Statement "instance of facility" changed to "instance of beach". --Tagooty (talk) 14:52, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
