Comment A little dilemma: the nominated image shows a fruit and its seed but here the mango is as round as an apple, which isn't the most usual form — and in fact, the title and the caption specify that it is an "apple mango" cultivar. In the Category:Mango, we can find this other image, FP on English Wikipedia too, which presents a more oblong mango and its cross-section... but with a hidden seed! --Myrabella (talk) 20:59, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Thanks for this enlarged scope. But I dare oppose because the fruit submitted here is a round "apple mango" cultivar, which is not the most usual and typical shape. If we consider that Mangifera indica fruit = mango, one might prefer this image, showing a more oblong fruit, its inside flesh, and even a way of serving it. That's valuable within this scope, for wikipedias but also for other Wikimedia projects (for example, this one). --Myrabella (talk) 19:00, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
