- Info View of the "Casas Coloradas" (Spanish for "Red Houses"), Badajoz, Spain. The facades are one of the most beautiful elements of the "Plaza Alta" (Spanish for "High Square"). The houses along with the square date from the Middle Age where the square was used as a market. Poco a poco (talk) 16:48, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

- Comment Beautiful. This nomination could very well pass without any edits to the photo, but I'm wondering if just a little sharpening would further improve it. I don't know and therefore ask you what you think. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:16, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
- Ikan Kekek I've increased sharpness Poco a poco (talk) 13:40, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

- Weak support Striking, but I don't think you were so lucky with the light. Cmao20 (talk) 11:19, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

- Neutral better, but the light conditions (harsh midday sunlight in the summer) were not favorable. --Ivar (talk) 10:48, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Imo the light is not optimal for FP, sorry. Btw there is a problem with the aspect ratio. The arches, which I guess in reality are round (or semicircular), as you can see from other pictures of the building, look very flat and actually, since they are seen from the side, they should look much higher than semicircular. That results by correcting the vertical lines. --Wolfgang Moroder (talk) 04:20, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Wolfgang Moroder: fair enough, I improved the aspect ratio and the symmetry of the image, what do you think now? --Poco a poco (talk) 10:28, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- I think the correction is not enough. A round arch (arco de medio punto) in an oblique projection must become a stilted arch ( arco realzado/peraltado). I appreciate that you corrected the symmetry but I still believe the light is not good enough for FP (just my personal taste) I prefer this in regard to the light, more "dramatic". --Wolfgang Moroder (talk) 12:50, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per Moroder. I think this is just a difficult subject: you took this at the height of the summer sun, which results in boring colors, and any lower and there would be distracting shadows. What I generally do in these tight situations is wait for dusk: sometimes 10-15 minutes after sunset simply to get nice, even illumination does the trick, other times I prefer the blue hour look. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 04:52, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
