I do a lot of work with categories, and could really use the ability to delete categories, so that I do not have to add to the speedy deletion backlog. I am active on enWP, simpleEnWP,deWP and simpleEnWikt as well, so if you want to count edits - that should add up to a bit. I speak German natively and English pretty well too. I will understand most French and Italian texts as well. I am not an admin anywhere else, but I do believe that I will make a good admin here :) --rimshot^talk 11:47, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

If you look at my edit history you will find that I add category redirects where necessary, and speedy deletion tags everywhere else. For many accidentally created categories, deletion is the right choice (recent example). --rimshot^talk 23:14, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

I personally often delete empty categories. However, sometimes a redirect might be usueful, generally I would say it is not. --ALE! ¿…? 13:20, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
